Problem
A physician group needed to quickly gather detailed information about its local marketplace and competitors. The healthcare provider wanted to understand how patients in the area perceived its services and how their referral network worked.

Solution
Strategic Metrics implemented a detailed telephone survey of 3,000 persons in the target market. Competitive information about the competing physician groups and our client's identity was kept confidential during our interviews with respondents.

Results
The healthcare market benchmark revealed surprising findings to the client about its standings in the marketplace. The study showed what services and conveniences patients placed the most value on. 

Physicians were able to adjust the process of a patient visit and environment to best suit their patients' wants.

An ongoing monitoring program was put into place to gauge patient satisfaction with the new environment.
